About GDA
Glenside Dance Academy offers ballet lessons for young children (and adults!) that combine creativity and excellence in a low-pressure environment.  Starting as young as age 2 children can build a solid base for a future in ballet or just enjoy an introduction to dance, movement, and music.  Our short sessions let you try it out without committing for a whole year.

Lessons take place downstairs in the Fellowship Hall of Calvary Orthodox Presbyterian Church, 734 Willow Grove Avenue, Glenside, PA.

Attire
Girls: Leotard and tights.  Leather ballet shoes.  Hair pulled back from face.  Ballet skirts optional.
Boys: White t-shirt and athletic shorts or pants.  Leather ballet shoes.
Toddler and Me: Anything comfortable with bare feet.  Ballet clothes are not required, but are most certainly welcome.
Adult: Comfortable clothing you can move and stretch in.  Yoga or running pants and a tank top or t-shirt work well.  So do sweats.  :)  For shoes- most ladies just go barefoot, but grip socks or ballet shoes are fine too.  If you have long hair, you'll probably want to pull it back.  A yoga mat and light weights are helpful, but not required.

The instructor recommends Discount Dance Supply.  Use our school code: TP 103924 for a discount!  Also, check Dress to Dance in Glenside for high quality dance wear.
